Industry Base Waste Mapping (IB/WM)
Industry Base Waste Mapping is a tool developed by ARP to execute a first, high level review of a potential waste market by looking at the relevant Industry Base.
Main objective is to find and understand the industry base of a specific geographical area in order to identify companies in specific
industries by SIC code and their potential for Pre- and Co-Processable waste streams these companies potentially generate.
IB/WM uses the following method:
- Potential (geographical) market area(s) are identified
- A list of relevant industries and their potential waste is provided by ARP in co-operation with their client
- Based on self defined criteria the industry base is developed. For this industry base potential co-processable waste and leading companies in each sector are listed
- This data is the basis for:
- further analysis of individual companies
- further analysis of waste factors per industry
- base for complete further market survey for priority industry/waste
By combining the European Waste List (EWL), the list of Standard Industry Codes (SIC) with the know-how & experience of ARP a Waste-to-AFR catalog has been developed to support the search for the best applicable waste for Co-Processing.
The AFR categories suitable for Pre- and Co-Processing are identified by EWL and SIC Code while also an indication is given on the state of the material (solid, sludge or liquid), the applicability (fuel, raw material) and whether the materials are hazardous.
Search capabilities on all aspects makes it very easy to identify the relevant parameters for each type of waste and AFR.
