During the World Resource Forum 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland in September 2023, Ed has delivered as member of SRI team Ghana the following presentation:
Evaluation of the Buipe Cement Kiln of Savanna Diamond Ltd. (Ghana) for co-processing of Tyre Derived Fuel (TDF) and WEEE-plastics
The main conclusion of the evaluation is: the cement plant following some limited technical additions/upgrades, organizational training, adapting relevant operating procedures, a successful trial burn, updated EIA and receipt of an extended permit should be able to co-process TDF & WEEE plastic waste.
